At Eden Assistants, we take the protection of your personal data seriously. This notice explains how you can raise a concern or complaint about the way we handle your data, and what we will do in response.

Eden Assistants is a UK-registered virtual assistant agency. We act as a data controller in respect of the personal data we hold about our clients, prospective clients, and virtual assistants.

How to Raise a Data Complaint
If you believe your personal data has been handled incorrectly, you can raise a complaint in the following ways:
 

1. Email us at info@edenassistants.com & CC contact@edenassistants.com with the subject line “Data Complaint”.

2. Include your name, contact details, and a clear description of your concern.

3. Tell us what outcome you are seeking, if you have a preference.

 
You do not need to use formal language. We simply need enough information to understand and investigate your concern.
 
What Happens Next

1. Acknowledgement: We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 working days.

2. Investigation: We will review your complaint carefully and may contact you for further information.

3. Response: We will provide a full written response within 30 calendar days of receiving your complaint.

4. Resolution: Where a complaint is upheld, we will take appropriate remedial action and inform you of any steps taken.

 
Your Right to Escalate
If you are not satisfied with our response, or if we fail to respond within 30 days, you have the right to escalate your complaint to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
